Married to Samuel Houston Black on 28 Oct 1880, Graham, Young Co. TX. They raised several children.
She was a widow, age 88 yrs, 26d, at death.

Burial for Mrs. Mollie Black, mother of A.M. Black of Rt. 4, Abilene is to be in Muleshoe on Wednesday. She passed on Sunday in Dallas. Survived by four sons - A.M., E.W., E.M., and J.L. Black; three daughters - Mabel Byrd with whom she lived, Mrs. Beufort Wallace, Mrs. J.P. Ellis.
