MRS. ISABEL BRELAND DIES
Wiggins, Aug. 20-
Mrs. Isabel Hatten Breland, daughter of the late Peter Hatten, died at her home in the Inda community, August 11, at the age 74.
She was a lifelong member of Sunflower Baptist Church, joining before the Old Ten Mile Church was divided.
She reared five sons and two daughters, who survive, Horace, J.H., Gale W., Gavin O., Lonie L. Breland, Mrs. C.A. Broadus and Mrs. L.C. Barter, all residing in Inda community, also surviving are 7 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Columbus Breland of New Augusta and one brother, P.L. Hatten of Perkinston.
Rev. W.A. Ball, officiated at the funeral services, which were conducted at Sunflower church. Assisting him was Rev. Van Hill.
Interment was in Sumrall cemetery at Perkinston.
