Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home Wiggins chapel for Mrs. Essie B. Baxter, 81, of Perkinston, who died Wednesday at her residence.
The Rev. Gerald King, the Rev. Elton Brown and the Rev. R.D. Bond will officiate. Interment will be in Sunflower Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Stone County, Mrs. Baxter was a member of Sunflower Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Carley Baxter of Perkinston; two daughters, Mrs. Roscoe Redmond of Garland, Tex., and Mrs. John Kauffman of Gautier; four grand-children and two greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel.
