Betty I Beckett, 55, of Hampsher Road, Manchester, Ohio, died Monday morning in Massillon, Ohio Community Hospital.
She was born in Parkersburg, daughter of Freda Wandless, of Parkersburg, and the late William Wandless. She was a member of the New Hope Chapel in Canal Fulton, OH and was a member and past president of the Nimisila Emergency CB Club.
She is also survived by her husband, Charles Beckett; 2 daughters, Connie Morehead,of Barberton, OH, and Carla Decker, at home; a brother, Billy Wandless, of Parkersburg; and 3 sisters, Virgie Callihan, of Parkersburg, Ada Caponigro, of Kissimmee, FL, and Freda "Bea" Poyet, of Belpre.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Swigart Funeral Home in Canal Fulton, Ohio, Brother Kenneth Morrison officiating, wit burial in Manchester Ohio Cemetery.
