Patty B. Bosma, age 80 of Ravenna, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015.

She was born April 11, 1935, in Sistersville, West Virginia, to parents Homer and Olive (Richardson) Judge. Patty was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to dance, and especially loved going out for dinner and dancing on New Year's Eve. Patty also enjoyed cooking and was known for her famous spaghetti and meatballs, and kielbasa soup. Family was always important to her. Patty cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren during sleepovers playing board games, and going to family parties and picnics.

Patty is survived by her children: Rick (Joyce) Ungar, Sherry (Karl) Hecky, Debra (Bob) Crissinger, and Joyce (Bob) Lougen, her grandchildren: Robert (Bethany) Crissinger, Tyler (Annie) Crissinger, Melody (Kyle) Apthorpe, Steve Hecky, and Steven Ungar, along with her great-grandchildren: Sydnie, Seth, and Brooklyn Apthorpe. She is also survived by her sisters: Velma Read, Dolly Miller, Sandra Carroll, and Helen (Don) Lawless, her brothers Norman and Carl Judge, as well as her step-children: Robert "Rook" (Terri) Bosma, David (Peggy) Bosma, Sandra Jameson, Melanie Smith, Bruce Bosma, and Carol (Jeff) Warren, in addition to her many loving step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jack M. Bosma, and her sisters Beverly Judge and Doris Leigh.

Friends will be received Sunday, August 30, 2015, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery in Garrettsville.
