L. James Adams, 66, of 202 N. Wall Street, Covington, died Wednesday morning at Piqua Memorial Medical Center.
Preceded in death in 1986 by his wife, Lois Holfinger Adams, Mr. Adams is survived by a daughter, Mrs Lawrence (Karen) Kiser of Covington; two sons, Ted Hensley of Hubbard, OR and James Adams with the U.S. Air Force in Italy; two sisters, Mrs Frank (Jane) Miller and Mrs Kenneth (Kathleen) Fourman, both of Springfield; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr Adams retired in 1978 from B.F. Goodrich after 30 years service. A 1941 graduate of Covington High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a member of the Covington Presbyterian Church, and Masonic Lodge 168 and Royal Arch Masons 215, both of Covington.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Bridges-Stocker Funeral Home, Covington with the Rev John Koerner officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 6-9 p.m. Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Covington Rescue Squad.
