Children with John Berry include Nannie (1873-1960)), John W (1873-1928), Melcini "Mellie" (1877-1953), Virginia (1878-infancy?), Lewis C. (1880-infancy?), Hettie (1881-1952), Geneva "Jennie" Maude (1884-1939), Missouri (1886-after 1933), Grace Elizabeth (1887-1948). On the 1900 census Alice is listed as being the mother of 11 children with 7 surviving in 1900. Her obituary stated she was mother of 12 children, 5 of whom died in infancy.
