Funeral services for Ms. Augusta Rae Buvens, 82, will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, November 15, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the St. John Cemetery.
Ms. Buvens passed away at 1:30 a.m., at Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport, on November 12.
She is survived by three sons, Claude Gill, Jerry Buvens, and Jackie Buvens; four daughters, Pauline Harris, Rae Cox, Betty Whatley, and Linda Butts; two brothers, Willy Walker, and Sidney Walker; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
