Pauline Gill Harris of, Shreveport, LA was born on November 6, 1926. She entered Heavens Gates on April 8, 2016 surrounded by her family at Willis-Knighton Pierremont after a sudden illness. A Graveside service to honor Mrs. Harris will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2 P.M. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband John Mark Harris whom she met while working at the Washington Youree Hotel in Shreveport, LA. Pauline was a bookkeeper most of her life. The family of Pauline, (aka. "Polly", "Moma" and "Mammaw") will forever cherish the sweet memories made with her over the years.
Pauline is surived by her son Michael Wayne Harris and wife Sheila, her daughter Kathryn "Kat" Arnold and husband Dean, her grandson Jamey Harris and wife Julie, her granddaughter Amanda Sloan and husband Chad, her granddaughter Tiffany Woodall and husband Joe, her granddaughter Krystle Theriot and fiancé Chris Trosclair and numerous great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to the Bradford Nursing Home for the care given to Pauline in her final years this side of Heaven. Also, special thanks to the nurses and staff of the step down unit at Willis-Kinghton Pierremont.
