Alma Marshall, 84, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Texline United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Bayley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Texline Cemetery by Hass Funeral Home of Dalhart.

Mrs. Marshall grew up in the Henrietta, Okla., area. In the early 1940s, she moved to Hartley and then to Texline in 1945.

With her husband, Mrs. Marshall farmed in the Draper community until retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Texline United Methodist Church and the Draper Home Extension Club.

She married Clifton Marshall in 1935 at Henrietta. She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Ray Marshall, and a daughter, Helen Laverne Burton.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mildred Reagan of Texline; four sisters, Elsie Mae Himes of Bushnell, Fla., Anna Brunaugh of Bunker Hill, Ill., Freda Musick of Amarillo and Rose Butler of Dennison; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Texline United Methodist Church.
