Graveside Services 2:00 PM Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the Llano Cemetery Mausoleum with Glenn Reagan officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, Amarillo, Texas 79110.
Freda was born October 6, 1920 in Clay County to Pete and Christine Wiist. She married Thomas “TB” Musick on March 17, 1940 in Waurika, Oklahoma. They moved to Amarillo from Wichita Falls in 1960. She worked for many years in retail at White and Kirk which became Sakowitz. She later started her own custom drapery business. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Thomas in 2007; eleven brothers and sisters; and her daughter in law Jerrie Musick.
Freda is survived by a daughter, Ninell Musick Splawn of Wichita Falls; two sons, Larry Musick of Amarillo and Charles Musick and wife Monica of Amarillo; seven grandchildren, Susan Splawn Humphrey and husband Kevin of Austin, Todd Musick of Austin, Cory Musick and wife Stephanie of Amarillo, Blase Musick of the U. S. Air Force Academy, Colorado, Charley Musick and wife Christi of Amarillo, Missy Musick of Amarillo and Breann Rios and husband Sebastian of Lubbock, and three great-grandchildren, Skyler and McKenzie Musick of Amarillo and Talynn Rios of Lubbock.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice of the Southwest, 5211 SW 9th, Ste 100, Amarillo, TX 79106.
Visitation will be from 5:30-6:30 Friday, January 6, 2017 at the funeral home.
