Death of Louisa Vaughn
In the death of Louisa, wife of Robert Vaughn, the community loses an esteemed citizen. She died after a lengthy illness, on Saturday of last week and on Monday following, was laid to rest in the city cemetery, after an impressive funeral service by Elder South, at the Christian Church. A large number of friends participated in the sad ceremonies. The bereaved husband and mourning children have our deepest sympathy in their sorrow.
Robert & Louisa also had a daughter named Edith that was born in Kansas in 1881, who later married a B. S. or B. F. Meyer. If anyone has any information on them we would appreciate it.
