September 16, 1994 Sam Todd, 90, formerly of Augusta, died Wednesday in Cincinnati. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. Augustine Church in Augusta. His wife, Salome Goecke Todd, died in 1982. Survivors include sons, Robert Todd of Sophia, N. C., Thomas Todd of Charlotte, N. C., and George Todd of Derby, Kan.; daughters, Helen Bishop of Cincinnati and Edith Hampton of Ft. Mitchell; sisters, Matilda Todd of Brooksville and Bertha Lee Wolfe of Alabama; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, Augusta, with rosary at 8:45 p.m. Burial was in the church cemetery.
