My dad was born on 26 Sep 1932 at Germantown, Bracken, Kentucky, to the late Samuel Thomas and Mary Salome (Goecke) Todd. He was born in a log home on his grandfather land. His father and his grandfather were tobacco farmers, they were very poor farms, He was the 2nd oldest of four children. My dad's family only had one indoor plumbing and that was in his grandfather house but only the ladies could use it and the children and the men had to go to the outhouse, and his family did not get their first home phone line and electricity in house until he was in collage. He graduated from the University of Kentucky around 1954 at the age of 22yr after graduation he joined the Air Force from 1954 until 1962, he was a navigator and he was also servicing during the Koren war, he was honorary discharge at the rank of Capt. After his military service he went back to school and graduation from North Carolina State. with Masters degree in nuclear engineering. With in their beautiful, strong , and happy marriage, they adopted 4 beautiful child, their 1st child was Michael from Ware, Massachusetts, and then they adopted their 2nd child was Julie from Nashville, Tn, their last two children was (myself) and Lisa from Bogotá, Colombia,South America. His mother Mary Salome Goecke passed away on December 5, 1982, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 79.

His father Samuel Thomas "Sam" Todd passed away on September 16, 1994, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 90.
My father died on January 5, 2019, with his true love by his side in Monroe, North Carolina, at the age of 86. My dad lived a full and great full and very successful life and was a life long fan (64yrs) of the Kentucky Wild Cats football and basket ball teams, he never tried to miss a game on Tv or on the radio.
I could never have ask for a better father then what GOD has give me in my life.
Love you Dad.
