A Chehalis resident, Rebecca A. Snaza, 79, died Thursday, July 4, at Providence Hospital in Centralia.
She was born April 28, 1912, in Chehalis to William C. and Eliza Snelson.
She had lived in Walville for about seven years and then attended schools in Chehalis and Pe Ell.
Survivors include a son, John D. of Rochester; two daughters, Helen M. Zimmerman of Auburn and Dorothy M. Teitzel of Centralia; a sister, Dorothy O. Simes (Sines) of Wilsonville, Ore.; nine grandchildren; and a great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Snaza, and a daughter, Pauline.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sticklin Funeral Chapel in Centralia, which is in charge of arrangements.
No further services are planned at this time.
