MARSHALL LEE SELF

Funeral services for Marshall Lee Self were held May 15,2006, at Southern Funeral Homes Chapel with Minister Ray Edwards officiating. Burial was held at West City Cemetery with Southern Funeral Homes in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Self, 83, of Vaiden, died May 13, 2006 at his residence in Vaiden. He was a farmer.

Mr. Self was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Self and MattieSelf.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine Guess Self of Vaiden; step-son, John C. Bubba Calhoun of Vaiden; step-daughters, Linda Bridges, Wanda Cook, and Brenda Loftin, all of Vaiden and Gwen Whitworth of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Wilma Wilson of Kosciusko and Bertha Ellis of Pascagoula; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Frank Stanton, Jimmy Webb, Ralph Self, Mark Havens, Dennis Dean and Warren Burrell.
