BROKEN HIP HASTENS END
Miss Augusta Rexilius, passed away in death at the home of her brother, John Rexilius, at 159 First St., yesterday (Thursday) afternoon, at 3:30 o’clock, at the age of 58 years. Deceased had been ailing for the past four years, but was up and around until about a month ago, when she fell and fractured her left hip. Since that time, she has been confined to her bed. The deceased was born in Germany, on July 27, 1866, and came to America with her parents [mother, Christina Rexilius) in 1893, settling in this city. Miss Rexilius spent some years here, then moved to Slinger, and for six years did nursing at Milwaukee. She returned here in 1905, and for the past twenty years has made her home with her brother, who with one sister, Mrs. Henry Klumb, of Barton, are the only survivors.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon, with services at the Peace Lutheran Church, at 2 o’clock. Interment will be made in the Union cemetery with the Rev. Van Rohr officiating.
