OSCAR RUDIE

Oscar Rudie, 67, of ___ N. Ninth St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc, the Rev. Roland Schwandt officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Born July 9, 1885, on the homestead farm, Rt. 2, Manitowoc, he married the former
Florence Williamson-Hanson in 1904. He retired three years ago after being
employed by the Heresite and Chemical Company, Manitowoc. A singer of note, Mr.
Rudie was much in demand as a soloist and sang for __ years in the First Lutheran
Church choir until he became ill. He was a former member of the Men’s Club of the
church and was past grand of the Manitowoc Odd Fellows lodge N. 55.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. W. A. Bryant of Jacksonville, Fla.; a
son, Raymond of Minneapolis; a brother, John of Rt. 2, Manitowoc; and six grand-
children.
Friends may call at the Frazier Mortuary, Manitowoc, after 2 p.m. Sunday until 10
a.m. Monday when the body will be removed to the church.
