He was born in Wisconsin and came to Whitman County in 1880. His father, Chester W. Morley, homesteaded near Mockonema. To the land he inherited, the son added about 260 adjoining acres, giving him about 1200 acres of the best wheat land.
Mr. Morley was a member of the Elks' Lodge at Moscow and of the W. O. W. of Colfax. For a number of years he made his home at Spokane and spent the summers at Priest Lake. He reestablished permanent residence here more than a year ago.
