Gus W. Morley, 46, scion of a pioneer family of Whitman County, was found dead today in his room in the Palace Hotel. It was indicated that he had arisen from bed, probably yesterday, and collapsed.

Morley, an ex-service man, was stationed at Brest, France, six months during the World War. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Morley. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Naomi Morrison, Olympia, and Mrs. Doris Tassmore in California. The body is at Bruning's.
