Alva [Albion] C. (Shorty) Morley, 47, a resident of Colfax all his life, died at his home early this morning following a heart attack. He was ill but a few hours.
Surviving besides his widow are two daughters, Maxine, a student at Washington State College and Juanita Morley, a teacher at Lacrosse; one brother, Guss, Colfax, and two sisters, Mrs. S. T. Morrison, Olympia, and Mrs. Lyman Passmore, Shanghai, China.
Funeral services will be held Sunday.
