TAYLOR COUNTY KENTUCKY OBITUARY – 1992
Gracie Lee Brown, 61, Casey Creek, KY, died Saturday, September 19, 1992, at her residence after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Granville McDonald & Ophalia Tungate McDonald, who survives. She was a native of Taylor County and was married to Elbridge A. Brown in 1947, who survives. Besides her husband and mother, Brown is survived by 1 son and 2 daughters, Robert Brown and Martha Brown, both of Louisville, and Nancy Wethington, Casey Creek; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; 7 brothers and 2 sisters, Buel Dean McDonald, Elkhorn, David, Joseph, Phillip, Nick, and Vonald McDonald, all of Louisville, George McDonald and Merlin Foster, both of Bradfordsville, and Berdise Burress, Elkhorn; several other relatives and a host of friends. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, September 21, 1992, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Frazier and Homer Stevens officiated. Pallbearers were Arvin Brown, David Brown, Mike Fajardo, Freddie Burress, Jerry Burress and Joe Burress.
