Joseph Lee McDonald, of Campbellsville, son of the late Granville McDonald and Ophelia Tungate McDonald, was born October 13, 1947, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:55 P.M., Sunday, September 1, 2013 in Campbellsville. Age: 65

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist Faith.

He was an employee of the City of Campbellsville for thirty plus years and operated the Old Armory.

He united in marriage to Patricia Lynn Cox July 25, 1967.

Besides his wife, Patricia Lynn McDonald, he is survived by one son, Allen McDonald and wife, Stephanie of Campbellsville; one grandson, Lucas Allen McDonald of Campbellsville; one sister and five brothers: Burtis Burress, David McDonald, Phillip McDonald of Elkhorn, George McDonald of Campbellsville, Buell Dean McDonald of Liberty and Vondal McDonald of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Gracie Brown, Merlin Foster and a brother, Nicholas McDonald.

VISITATION: 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday

Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville
