Mr. McCormick, died, July 12, 2006, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center, was born Oct. 17, 1909, in Lawrence County to William Jeff McCormick and Hattie Mae Brown McCormick.
Preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude McCormick; one son, Kenneth McCormick; and one great granddaughter, Janna Grace Wakefield.
Survivors include one son, Bobby McCormick of Danville; one daughter, Rebecca Joyce Wakefield of Hartselle; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
