Hartselle - Funeral for Letha Mae Hughes, 88, of 119 Thompson St. will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. C.G. Reding and the Rev. Mack Carter officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hughes died today at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Letha Mae McCormick on January 23, 1905 in Lawrence County. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Unit 11, Decatur.
She is survived by three sons, William Thomas Hughes of Phenix City, James Hughes of Hartselle and Farris Hughes of Falkville; one daughter, Virginia Holladay of Hartselle; two brothers, Marvin McCormick and Ed McCormick, both of Danville; two sisters, Minnie Hembree of Danville and Ozell Spotts of Charlotte, Mich.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby McCormick, Kenny McCormick, Jason McCormick, Jeremy McCormick, David Crane and Jerry Rooks.
