Orville was a man, that as kids, we loved to rub his bald head and he didn't mind at all. He would just laugh. He was once married and then divorced, no kids. He was a jolly man and seemed to be liked by all.

We saw him only around Christmas time since he lived in California and then after he retired, he moved to Vegas. His passion was gambling. He loved to drink Coke, played checkers with us and would visit relatives graves every year. The last year he was alive, he drove his classic car to Missouri, he was so proud of it. Mom, dad and I were living up around Grassy at the time and he got stuck overnight with grandma Cobb and Aunt Robbielee because of a heavy snowstorm. Dad had to help him get his car out of the back road to get to the main road the next morning. That would be the last time we would ever get to enjoy his company because by the time he drove back to Las Vegas after his vacation, he sat down on his bed and just died of a heart attack. They found his body days later, so he had a closed casket.
