Leona Yvonne Arseneault 1934-2008

At her residence, November 26, 2008, Mrs. Leona Yvonne Arseneault of Hazeldean passed away at the age of 74 years. She was the wife of Lionel Arseneault. Born at Blue Bell in 1934, she was a daughter of the late Napoleon and Catherine (Michaud) Levesque.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Louis of Enderby, BC and Michael (Diane) of Perth-Andover, two daughters, Joanne Arsenault-Kunze (Doug) of Vernon, BC and Ginette Rhebergen (Allan) of Bradford, Ontario, two grandchildren, Robyn and Heather, three brothers, Francois, George and Claude of New Denmark, five sisters, Clara Christensen (Verner) and Irene Godreau of Blue Bell, Helen Cole and Eva Cote of Grand Falls and Lina Morin (Antoine) of Drummond, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Martial, John, Peter, Noel, Louis and Philippe and sister, Rita.

Her funeral service was held Saturday, November 29th at 11 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Blue Bell, with Father Curtis Sappier officiating. The pallbearers were Jean-Guy Morin, Rino Godreau, Roger Garneau Jr., Donald Christensen, Yvon Levesque and Gerald Morin. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.

Arrangements were by O'Regan's Funeral Home, Grand Falls.
