Clara Christensen 1927-2010
At the Grand Falls General Hospital, January 30, 2010, Mrs. Clara Christensen of Crombie Settlement passed away at the age of 82 years. She was the wife of Verner Christensen. Born at Blue Bell in 1927, she was a daughter of the late Napoleon "Paul" and Catherine (Michaud) Levesque.
Besides her husband, she is survived by six children, Linda Swan, Betty Bradford, Shirley Perreault, Donald Christensen, Floyd Christensen and Marion McCluskey, 21 grandchildren, Tracy Daye, Wendy Morin, Jeffery Daye, Marsha Harding, Stacy Bradford, Marnie Baker, Lori Carter, Gary Perreault, Paul Perreault, Andy Perreault, Shelley Christensen, Brian Christensen, Christopher Christensen, Ray Christensen, Clayton Christensen, Trevor Christensen, Josh Christensen, Ryan Christensen, Lainie McCluskey, Beverly Shiner and Haley McCluskey, 18 great grandchildren, three brothers, George Levesque of New Denmark, Francis and Claude Levesque of Blue Bell, three sisters, Helen Cole of Saint-Andre, Lina Morin of Drummond and Eva Cote of Grand Falls, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, John, Peter, Louis, Noel, Marshall and Philippe, sisters, Irene Godreau, Rita Michaud and Yvonne Arseneault.
Her funeral service was held Tuesday, February 2nd at 11 a.m. from O'Regan's Funeral Home, Grand Falls with Mr. Kevin Smith officiating. Interment was in the Anfield Community Cemetery.
Arrangements were by O'Regan's Funeral Home, Grand Falls.
