Angelita "Lita" Kaine, 88, of Forestville, passed away on January 30, 2007 at Plainville Health Care.
She was the beloved wife of Roy S. Kaine. Angelita was born on November 11, 1918 to the late Juan Antonio and Ceferina Posadas. Lita was formerly of Plainville, having made her home in Forestville with Roy.
She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mercy Church. Lita enjoyed to crochet and knit and also did some quilting. She loved her daily card game of cribbage with Roy. She will be immensely missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her daughter Andrea Steadman, three brothers Raphael, Joseph and Angelo, and three sisters Josephine, Mary and Juana.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 3, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial followed in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Family and friends were invited to gather one hour before from 9:30-10:30 am. at Bailey Funeral Home 48 Broad St. Plainville.
