Mary Jean (Posadas) Osle, 87, of Plainville, passed away on Sunday, (May 15, 2005) at Countryside Manor.
She was the wife of the late Leon Osle. Mary was born on December 11, 1917 in Westfield, MA to the late Juan and Ceferina (Otero) Posadas.
A longtime resident of Plainville, she was a member of the Plainville Democratic Town Committee in the late 50's and was a member of the Plainville Senior Center, and Our Lady of Mercy Church. She retired from Johnson and Johnson in 1979.
She had a love for arts and crafts and a gifted talent for ceramics and painting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, and she cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren.
She also leaves 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Services were held on Thursday, from Bailey Funeral Home, Plainville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mercy Church.
Burial were held privately, at the convenience of the family. Calling hours were held on Wednesday at the funeral home.
