Allie Jones Fryar, 95, of Ripley died Monday, February 18, 2008 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Ripley. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Services were at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feburary 20, 2008 at McBride Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley. Bro Randy Bostick officiated and Bro. Bill Foley assisted. Interment was in New Prospect Cemetery near Ripley.
Suvivors include one daughter, Betty Jean Bullock of Ripley, one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Fryar of Pine Grove; one brother-in-law, Neil Johnson of Waukegan, IL; two sisters, Mary Etta Bullock of Waukegan, IL and Leatrice Tigrett of Blue Mountain; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elton Fryar, her parents, Thomas Lee and Mary Hatcher Jones, one daughter,
Eunice Fryar Johnson, one son, Robert B. Fryar; four sisters, Annie Johnson, and Gladys Mitchell; one brother, Allen Jones, one grandchild, Vicky Lynn McOwen.
Pallbearers were Robert A. Fryar, Wayne Jumper, Warren Reno, Greg Johnson, Mark Bullock, Justin Bullock, Caleb Fryar, and Joshua Fryar.
Visitation was from 7 a.m. to service time Wednesday.
