Catherine Baker, 84, of Pearl, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at St. Dmonic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Monday, February 27, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Baker was born in Flora, Ms to Roy Huff and Ida Mae Harrison Huff in January of 1928. A beloved mother of four; grandmother of four; and great-grandmother of thirteen will be missed by all of her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert C. Baker and her son, Lavon Baker.
She is survived by her sons, James Robert Baker and his wife, Betty "B.B.", Billy Roy Baker, and Danny Lee Baker and his wife, Nikki; brothers, Lamar and Grady Huff; sisters, Blanche Hobson, Eloise Huff Britton, and Mabel Dunlap; grandchildren, Cassie Bufkin, Jason Baker, James Rayborn and Diane Powell and 13 great-grandchildren.
