CAMERON — Graveside funeral services for Myrtle Jewel Gandy Hill, age 92, of Temple, were held 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 at the North Elm Cemetery with Rev. Billy Crow officiating. Mrs. Hill died Saturday, Oct. 27 in a Temple nursing facility following an illness.
Mrs. Hill was born Jan. 15, 1915 in Milam County to Nicholas and Ida Mae Russell Gandy and was a retired seamstress.
Survivors include a son, Bert Hill of Brownwood; three daughters, Frankie Cloud of Temple, Laverne Brewer and Mozelle Shumate, both of Brownwood; four brothers, Edwin "Mann" Gandy of Buckholts, N.W. Gandy Jr., Kenneth Gandy and Willard Gandy, all of Temple; 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
