Loftin
CAMERON – Funeral services for Evelyn Mae Loftin, 89, of Cameron, were held Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Gary Maroney officiating. She died Friday in a Temple nursing home.
Mrs. Loftin was born Sept. 24, 1913 in Yarrellton to Nicholas and Ida Russell Gandy. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Hallie B. Loftin.
Surviving are: Son, Bobby Gene Loftin of Temple; daughter, Margie Wells of Cameron; brothers, Edwin Mann Gandy of Buckholts, Willard Gandy, Kenneth Gandy and Nicholas Gandy all of Temple; sister, Myrtle Hill of Brownwood; four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
