Well Known Resident of Cascade Township, Dies in the City Saturday

Albert Grimm of Cascade township, died Saturday in the city, following a serious operation.

Mr. Grimm was born August 22, 1862, in Wisconsin. When but a little boy he come to Olmsted county with his parents and this county has been his home ever since.

He was married to Miss Mary Fuchs September 28, 1886. To them were born five children. Walter preceded his father in death. Arthur left for Camp Wadsworth, S.C., June 24, to serve his country. Mrs. John Krueger, Lloyd Grimm, and Cora Grimm are left to console the widow in her sorrow.

There are four brothers, William, Henry, Charles, and George. Five sisters are also bereft. They are Mrs. Martha Kaul, Mrs. Carrie Koelsch, Mrs. Louise Zimmerman, Mrs. Amelia Weber, and Mrs. Mary Stoppel.

Mr. Grimm was highly respected by all who knew him. The esteem in which he was held by his associates is shown from the fact that for eleven years he served as a member of the town board, being chairman at the time of his death. He served eighteen years as a member of the school board of his district.

The funeral will be at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the home in Cascade township.

Albert Grimm passed away Saturday at 5 p.m., at the Colonial hospital, where he had been taken a week before. His wife and three children were with him, one son, Arthur, who went to Camp Wadsworth last month could not be located and it is possible that he may be on the way over seas. Mr. Grimm has resided in Cascade for many years and has many friends who are in sympathy with the family and other relatives. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock Tuesday from the home. Interment was made in Gravel Knoll Cemetery.
