Mrs. Kaul is Called Home

OLMSTED COUNTY LADY SUMMONED-HADLONG BEEN A RESIDENT OF COMMUNITY

Mrs. Martha M. Kaul died at 11:30 o'clock yesterday morning at her home, 123 Fifth Avenue NW.

Services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. W.W. Bunge officiating. The body will be placed in the vault and in warmer weather laid to rest in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Martha Grimm was born in Columbus, Ohio, February 8, 1843. When five years old she went to Wisconsin. There in 1861 she was married to Carl Grassle. They lived in that state for three years when they moved to Douglas, Olmsted county. Feb. 20, forty-three years ago, Mr. Grassle died. December 26, thirty-nine years ago she was married to Peter Kaul. He died twenty-five years ago.

For years she suffered from asthma but she had been in bed during the last illness since last Friday.

Surviving relatives are three daughters, Mrs. Henry Fuchs, Douglas; Mrs. Gust Henke, Rochester; Mrs. Fred Miller, city; three brothers, Charles Grimm, Douglas; three sisters, Mrs. Louis Zimmerman, Rochester; Mrs. J. Koelsch, Rochester; Mrs. George Weber, Rochester; and Mrs. Henry Stoppel, Salem.
