Mr. John Grimm of Cascade, died last Friday from an attack of the grippe, at the age of 74 years. He was ill but a few days, the doctor being called Tuesday of last week for the first time. He has resided in this county 28 years, and leaves a wife and eleven children, six sons and five daughters to mourn his loss. The funeral was held at Douglass, Sunday, and was largely attended.

Mr. John Grimm, of Kalmar, died suddenly of heart disease, last Friday, aged seventy-four years. The funeral services were held at his late residence last Sunday and were largely attended.

Deceased came to this country in 1861, and has been a resident of this county since 1861, and was highly esteemed. He leaves a widow and eleven children, among the latter being Messrs. John and George Grimm, and Mrs. George Weber of this city
