Irene Greenland Charlesworth, 61, died August 9, 2004 in Payson. She was born February 10, 1943 in American Fork to Clarence and Maud Miller Greenland. She married Lester Bennett Charlesworth December 13, 1963 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Irene was active in the LDS church serving in various callings, the most enjoyable as a ward librarian. She spent many years helping establish and maintain the family business. She enjoyed doing handiwork including knitting, crocheting and sewing, as well as canning and baking. Her greatest joy was being with her family and loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Lester; children, Gayle (Jeneal) Charlesworth, LeAnn (Bart) Christofferson, Allen Blair Charlesworth, Marielen (Shane) North, Stacie (Dennie) Linch, Vicki Charlesworth, and Shane (Debora) Charlesworth; 26 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Florence White and Maxine Duncan; and 5 brothers, Merrill, Richard, Joseph, Leonard and Charles Greenland. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 14th at 11:00 a.m. in the Santaquin 1st Ward, 90 South 200 East.

Friends may call at Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.

Burial, Santaquin Cemetery.
