Bernt T. Eide

Bernt T. Eide was born at his home in Armour Valley, October 19, 1885. On March 21, he was taken ill with pneumonia. On April 1, the eleventh day of his illness, he passed away at the age of 46 years, 5 months and 12 days.
At the age of nine months he was adopted by his uncle, Thom H. Eide and his wife, as their own son.
On July 17, 1911, he was united in marriage with Bertena Ede, of South Dakota. Five children were born to this union: Myron, Eda, Theodore, who died in infancy, Alice and Thomas, all at home.
The funeral took place Tuesday. Rev. M. Flekke conducted services in the Armour Valley church. There was a large attendance. Interment was made in the cemetery in connection with the church.
Much sympathy is felt for the wife and children for the untimely loss of a good husband and father, who had the respect of the whole community in which he had lived his quiet and useful life.
