Etta was the daughter of Cliff and Rosie Burden Norton.

She married Loys Bresford Bradford, Sr. on March 31, 1935.

They had the following children: Kennon Ray, Harold Wayne, Loys Bresford, Jr., John, Douglas, Burrell, Gerald, Mary Ann, Mavis Faye, Joyce Lee, Ricky and Julie Gail Bradford.

Funeral for Etta Mae Bradford was 2 p.m Thursday, May 15, at Lawrence Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. David Nelson and the Rev. Tim Graham officiating.

Burial was in Old Liberty Cemetery, Town Creek.

Mrs. Bradford died Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at Baptist Lawrence Medical Center. She was born March 16, 1916 in Lawrence County to Cliff and Rosie Burden Norton. Mrs. Bradford was a member of Old Liberty Congregational Christian Church and Hatton Eastern Star No. 879. Her husband was the late Loys Bradford Sr.

Survivors include six sons, Ricky Bradford, Kennon Bradford, Horold Bradford, John Bradford, Burrell Bradford and Gerald Bradford, all of Town Creek; four daughters, Mary Ann Thrasher of Town Creek, Mavis Hunt of Florence, Joyce Traynom of Caddo and Julie Cole of Madison; one brother, Henry Ford Norton of Sheffield, 34 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bradford's grandsons were pallbearers.
