Joyce Lee Bradford, 67, of Athens passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at her home. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Crumpton officiating. Burial will be at Old Liberty Cemetery.
Born on June 29, 1955 to Loys and Etta Norton Bradford, Joyce was an avid Alabama fan who loved her kids and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Meleia (Shane) Burkett; grandchildren, Christian Sanderson and Raley Heflin; sisters, Julie Cole, and Mary Ann Thrasher; brothers, Ricky (Darlene) Bradford, and Burrell (Faye) Bradford; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Joyce is preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Sanderson; sister, Mavis Hunt; brothers, Kennon Bradford, Harold Bradford, Loys Bradford Jr., John Bradford, Douglas Bradford, and Gerald Bradford; and parents.
Pallbearers will be Chad Bradford, Mark Bradford, Todd Bradford, Michael Parker, Keith Thrasher, and Brian Thrasher.
