Lloyd Bonnett

Lloyd Bonnett, 63, of Rockport, Wood county, died at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital Thursday morning.

Burn in Jackson county, Feb. 4, 1910, he was the son of Mrs. Effie Archer Bonnett of Ripley and the late Lester Bonnett and was a member of the Rockport United Methodist Church.

He was retired from O. Ames Co. after 30 years of service and had previously been employed with the Big Inch Pipe Line Co.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, are his widow, Mrs. Lessie Bonnett; two sons, George of Vienna and Carroll of Rockport; six daughters, Mrs. Howard (Ireta) Dillon and Mrs. David (Irene) Burke, both of Sandyville, Mrs. T. J. (Janet) Anderson of Jacksonville, N. C., Mr. W. T. (Violet) West of Rockport; Mrs. Patricia O'Dell of Mineral Wells and Mrs. C. C. (Evelyn) Cronmiller of Belpre; 27 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Delmer Bonnett of Sandyville; and two sisters, Mrs. B. D. (Lydia) Bowers of Sandyville and Mrs. Clarence (Georgia) Moore of Ripley.

He was preceded in death by one daughter and two brothers.

Funeral rites will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Leavitt Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Higgins and the Rev. S. A. Scott officiating. Burial will be in the Gates Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
