Jackson County, W.Va. — SANDYVILLE – Lydia Ann Bower, 94 of Sandyville passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 at Ravenswood Village Nursing Home following a long illness.

She was born April 8, 1916 at Ravenswood a daughter of the late Lester and Effie Archer Bonnett. She was a homemaker, farmer and a member of the Sandyville Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a daughter Virgie Marie Hudson and her husband Floyd of Sandyville, grandchildren Sandy Fisher of Ripley, Charlotte and Rick Batten of Sandyville, Mike and Robin Hudson of Sandyville; great grandchildren Amanda and Billy Marshal of Mineral Wells, Monica Thomas of Parkersburg, Kelsey and Bill Clough of Charleston, Emiley Batten of Sandyville, Brandy Hudson of Sandyville, Benjamin Hudson of Sandyville, Brandon Hudson of Sandyville, Bryce and Jessie Hudson of Parkersburg; great great grandchildren Kyla, Kerwyn, Kendyll, Kayden and Karsyn Marshal and Carly and Lilly Smith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Benjamin "Boot" Bower; brothers and sisters Lloyd Bonnett, Delmer Bonnett, Georgia Moore, Georgee Bonnett and Denver Bonnett; one grandson Rock Hudson and one great grandchild Jessica Batten.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
