RIPLEY- Delmar Bonnett, 74, of Route 3, Box 117, Sandyville, W. Va., died Wednesday at his residence, after an extended illness.
He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Lester and Effie Archer Bonnett. He was retired from the O Ames Co. of Parkersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Bonnett; two daughters, Joan Boyce and Jean Archer, both of Sandyville; two sisters, Georgia Moore of Ripley, and Sylvia Bower of Sandyville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Vale Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Enoch Parsley officiating. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
