William Bailey, aged 74, died at his home, 804 Grant street, at 4:15 a m today, following a lingering illness. He was well known in Sharon and vicinity. Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Charlotte Bailey, a son, Charles, four daughters, Mrs. Lydia Koeffler, Mrs. Louise Otte, Mrs. Mable Burger, Miss Emma Bailey and Mrs. Tracy Darringer, all of Sharon; two brothers James and John of Sharon, and three sisters, Mrs. Louise White, Mrs. Alice Jones and Mrs. Hadie Davis of Sharon. Three grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday with Rev. P. F. DeLancey in charge. Burial will be made in Oakwood Cemetery. A son, William Bailey, was KIA in WWI. {herald}
