Mrs. Alice Bailey Jones, 88, widow of Thomas Jones died at 7 am today at her home, 154 Superior St. after an illness of several months' duration.
Mrs. Jones was born in Sharon on July 13, 1854, and was a daughter of Thomas and Anna Needham Bailey. She lived here all her life and was a member of the Central Christian church. Her death is mourned by many friends.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harry Miller, Canton and Mrs. Lindsay Addis, Sharon; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Sadie Davis, Greenville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Monday at the home and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. {herald}
