James P. Bailey, 77, formerly of Sharon, died in Mercer at 3:30 p m yesterday, where he had lived for the past nine years. He was born in Trumbull co and his parents were Thomas and Ann Needham Bailey. Before going to Mercer he had been a teamster for the McIntyre contracting firm in Sharon. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Alice Jones, Sharon, and Mrs. Sadie Davis, Greenville, and several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Sample Funeral home, 25 North Main av and will remain there for sevices at 3:30 p m, Thursday, in charge of Rev. Waymon Parsons, pastor of the Central Christian church. {herald}
