Stanley Aucutt, 87, formerly of Bloomington, passed away on Sept. 19, 2011, at Grace Health Care, Lake Wales, Florida.

He was born Aug. 15, 1924 in Novelty, Mo. to Thomas Mitchell and Blanche Jane Henry Aucutt. He married Bernadine Snodgrass on Jan. 28, 1951 in Towanda. She survives.

Also surviving are one brother, Charles (Susan), Monterey, California; a sister-in-law, Gerry Craddock, Elgin and several nieces and nephews.

He served in the U.S. Army, 1st Cavalry Division, Asiatic-Pacific Theater during World war II.
