Clendis Wayne Aucutt, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at the age of 78. Born in Edina, Missouri on September 29, 1928, Wayne was raised on the family farm with his nine brothers. He came to California in 1946 and settled in Stockton, where he met his future wife, Patricia. They were married in 1955 and had 32 happy years together. Wayne worked for the U.S. Postal Service and later earned a degree in civil engineering. He soon discovered his passion for real estate. Wayne earned his real estate broker's license and opened his first office, Aucutt & Larson, with his business partner, Norm Larson. Wayne later opened Aucutt & Associates Realtors and was the President of the Stockton Board of Realtors in 1977. Wayne was also active in the Trade Club, the Chamber of Commerce Welcome Squad, Toastmasters, the Waterloo Gun and Bocce Club, and the Elks. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia and six of his brothers.
