Clora was survived by her dear children: Alma Hirkala of Las Vegas, Nevada; John Archuleta (wife Mary) of Albuquerque; Cathy Guillen (husband Joe) of Española; Martha Roybal (husband Orlando) of Española; Jeanne Archuleta and Ameenah Fox of Albuquerque; and Toni Elder (husband Ren) of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren: Brina Ceballes (husband Jason), Ana Smilow (husband Robert), Carlos, Christopher and Katrina Guillen, Marcos and Jaymie Roybal, and great-granddaughter, Lenora Ceballes; brother Mariano Maestas (wife Stella); sister Sally Barela; sisters-in-law Margarita Salazar, Juanita Casados and Polly Barnhart; and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Clora was a devoted wife and loving mother, and an active parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and La Sagrada Familia de Chamita. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved each one of them dearly.
Public visitation was on February 6, 2012 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. A Rosary was recited at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh Pueblo. Mass of Christian burial was on February 7, 2012 also at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial followed in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers: Carlos Guillen, Christopher Guillen, Marcos Roybal, Ameenah Fox, Jason Ceballes, Robert Smilow, and Alex Salazar. Honorary pallbearers: Orlando Roybal, Joe Guillen, Martin Martinez nieces, nephews and friends.
